Paatsalu Kayak Marathon 2008
Instructions
PURPOSE:
Promote sea pulling and bring together people who deal with that area and give out Estonian Champion and Paatsalu Champion titles.
TIME AND PLACE:
13 September 2008 in Varbla on the territory of Paatsalu Holiday Centre
Gathering from 10.00 to 12.00.
Start of the marathon at 13.00, Eskimo turn competition starts at 18.00.
COURSE:
Estonian Championship app. 18 km: Paatsalu – Pöörlaid – Paatsalu
Paatsalu Championship app. 6 km: Paatsalu – Oosäär – Paatsalu
Eskimo turn competition: full turns within one minute, everyone chooses to which side they turn.
COMPETITION CLASSES:
Men and women on single and dual kayaks, mixed teams rated under men’s class.
AWARDING:
First three places of each boat class and distance are awarded.
FEES:
Starting fee on site is EEK 225. Upon preliminary registration the fee is EEK 150.
To pre-register please send an e-mail to paikuse11@hot.ee and transfer the fee to bank account No. 221026405730 with Hansapank. Invoice will be sent by e-mail.
Preliminary registration commences on 11 August and ends on 11 September.
Accommodation in Paatsalu Rest Centre is for a fee. You can stay in the main building, campsites, family houses or use the camping area of the Rest Centre.
